Resolved: Twitter Attribution: Processing Delay

From December 9th 2015, 9.00pm PST to 10th December 2015, 10.20am PST, TUNE was unable to successfully process Twitter attribution events. During this period, any installs or events that should be been attributed to Twitter, will mostly show as organic, and a small amount may be attributed to another last-click channel.   Please note that this data was not lost, and we still hold the queued attribution information, which is now accurately displayed in our platform.

The issue was due to a failure in the validation of these events. We have no identified a method to automatically renew the validation token, and alert our teams swiftly should this recur.  This will ensure seamless ongoing validation should the issue recur.

All data has now been sent successfully to Twitter, and we have restored all attribution data into our platform.

This interruption in our service only impacted the Twitter channel, and no other attribution sources.
